Do you speak English? | British Culture Month
Dear students,
First of all, I want to congratulate all of you on your hard work and dedication to creating your presentations about British Culture! Presenting in front of a crowd is not an easy task, but all of you have majorly succeeded, that is why I know that the following task will be an easy job for you.
We now know a lot about British Culture but... how much knowledge do we have of those English-speaking countries outside of the UK? What about New Zealand? Barbados?
Your next task will be to create an infographic about an English-speaking country, stating facts that will make it known to your classmates. Here is an example:
You should get in pairs and choose a country for your infographic:
- Australia
- The Bahamas
- Barbados
- Belize
- Canada
- Dominica
- Grenada
- Guyana
- Ireland
- Jamaica
- Malta
- New Zealand
- St Kitts and Nevis
- St Lucia
- St Vincent and the Grenadines
- Trinidad and Tobago
- United Kingdom
- United States of America
Your infographics will be displayed in the high school hall for everyone to see, so make sure you make them look attractive and interesting for all students.
See you in the classroom,
Miriam
